About Eddie
Born in Los Angeles and raised outside New York City, Eddie Devine is a songwriter, publisher, and author. His career in the music industry began when music publisher Doug Stebleton signed him to his first publishing agreement through Transition Music in Hollywood. Doug later placed one of Eddie’s songs on ABC’s television series Doogie Howser, M.D.
After stepping away from songwriting for 36 years, Eddie returned to writing in 2026 and produced 61 songs in approximately two and a half months. He wrote the lyrics, arranged the music, and completed the master demos, developing a catalog that spans Christian Contemporary, Christian Worship, Christian Hip Hop, Country, and R&B. Today, his songwriting, publishing, books, and creative projects are represented through Eddie Devine Music, with his publishing administered through Intercession Music Works (ASCAP).
Beyond music, Eddie is also an author. His flagship project, My Story. His Glory., is rooted in his testimony—a journey from survival to sonship. What began as a Christian Hip Hop album has grown into a broader body of work that includes a memoir, a 31-day devotional, a 365-day book of daily inspirations, and additional resources through which Eddie shares the story of God’s faithfulness throughout his life.
